Casino table rules: roulette, blackjack and baccarat

Roulette: check the wheel and payout together

A conventional single-zero wheel has 37 pockets; a double-zero wheel has 38. If both pay 35 to 1 on a straight-up number bet, the additional zero increases the house edge. Special rules and variant payouts can change the calculation, so inspect the actual rules rather than assuming every “European” tile is the same.

Red does not become due after a run of black. A conventional independent spin has no obligation to balance a short sequence. Systems that double a stake after losses can reach a table limit or exhaust available money without recovering earlier spending.

Blackjack: several small rules matter

Check the blackjack payout, whether the dealer hits or stands on soft 17, the number of decks, doubling restrictions, split rules and whether surrender is offered. Those differences affect expected outcomes; a claim about a “blackjack RTP” without the rule set and decision assumptions is incomplete.

Player decisions affect blackjack returns, unlike a standard slot round. That does not make a game risk-free or turn a strategy chart into a promise of profit. Side bets, insurance and unusual variants need their own analysis instead of borrowing the main game’s headline figure.

Baccarat: identify the settlement rules

In common baccarat, the drawing rules settle Player and Banker hands automatically. Check whether the Banker bet has commission, whether a special Banker total pays differently and how ties settle the main bets. “No commission” does not establish a better return without those details.

Tie and other side bets are distinct bets with separate payouts and probabilities. A longer potential payout is not evidence of better value. Road maps record previous hands; they do not guarantee a following pattern or remove the risk of loss. Online casino services cannot lawfully be provided to people in Australia.
